Last Thursday, we had this year's first circular economy morning event in a sunny atmosphere in Lauttasaari. This time, we had two very interesting speakers on the topic of sustainability. The morning began with Ali Harlin from Infinited Fiber Company, followed by Arttu Lahti from Green Carbon.

Our Helsinki office is moving to new premises, and therefore we are organizing a moving sale from April 17th to 21st.

The end-of-life workwear of Lidl employees gets a new lease of life when we recycle them into raw materials at Rester. In 2022, nearly 4,000 kilograms of Lidl workwear was recycled. The workwear are processed into recycled fibers. Recycling workwear is a tangible example of Lidl's commitment to the food industry's shared material efficiency.

Workwear has been an essential part of fashion for decades. Workwear have historically been designed to be practical and durable, to withstand the rigors of hard work. It is for these reasons that many garments originally designed as workwear have made their way into the fashion world, becoming popular as casual wear.
